I was mad tired yesterday and today are not much better, so it is no great depth report tonight. It must I wait yet another day to get. Alexander has fægtet today and it has altogether be a very eventful day, you have to say. First I'll just point out that Alexander unfortunately did not win an Olympic medal this time. He started very weakly into the pot with losing all matches except one. But luckily it was already possible from the penultimate battle feel that he was about to find his personal style. A fencing style that had been pretty absent in the first matches. Why is it that Alexander probably even pay for you at some point. But there is no doubt that the Olympics might have been nervousness about a boost up. The combined with a group fencers all of which are extremely good. So it was definitely a day where you were punished severely and cash, if not were just on top. And it was so unfortunately it happened to Alexander. He had difficulty getting his style and his ideas to work. But fate would so that Alexander actually had to meet one of the somewhat "easier" fencers. Choi from Hong Kong, and Choi had already defeated Alexander at the World Championships in Baku, so we knew it was possible. And it was certainly struck Alexander Choi with 15 - 9, and was thus suddenly in the top 8 for the Olympics! The fight against Choi was a super match and everything seemed to work again. It must be said that Choi is a really good fencer, and certainly can not be mentioned as an easy opponent, as proud victory for Alexander.
Then Alexander would meet his good friend Babaoglu from Turkey. Here Alexander again had little trouble finding the perfect style back and was beaten with the digits 9 - 15
A somewhat deeper analysis of the day's hardships comes tomorrow when I have gotten some sleep on it. Alexander has also pledged himself to write a little on his own blog one day.
Finally, I say to you all - that we constantly had the feeling that the whole triangle was with us and supported us. I refer especially to the many cute text messages that poured in from near and far. It warms enormously and brings great joy in the little Danish triangle camp far away from home. Big thanks for that!
Now I sleeping ... Zzzzzzz
