So I started fencing:The first time I was in the Triangle and had a foil in hand, I was 10 years old and was at home with my buddy Marcus Everitt, who at the time already went to the fencing. It was cold and it rained, and Marcus was going to workout before we were leaving. I therefore chose to go with him and the coach Malte hastened to give me a foil in his hand and I have not slipped since. I feel that I still have much to learn and I think it's fun to fencing at the elite level.
