13 B & D fencers by year groups 1996-2000 went along with the club's new Hungarian fencing champion, Ferenc Toth, and the club b & u-controller Malte Trier Mørch and a big team parents to Lübeck as a part of the club's rally program for the season 2009-10, which this age group includes both the new national ranking events and a selected number of international competitions. Fencers competed in cadet and in individual cohorts. Kolya Dahlin won the cadet group in style, just as he and Martin Spang, Conrad King City, Mathias Danckwardt, Sophus Landorph and Jacob Brandt Lang won their individual vintages quite convincing. They were joined on the podium of Maxim Valeur, Gustav Blicher and Tor Boesen, who all won silver medals, and Mathias Danckwardt and Gustav Schafer, who won bronze. Trekantens other fencers also delivered solid performance and was placed just outside the medal ranks. Also the club's tenacious seniorfægter Lene Jensen was in Lübeck and was placed in 12th space and got many shouts from the sidelines of the club's young fencers. Parents also had a tremendously nice trip ....... but it keeps us completely out of minutes! However, we dare say that the triangle team spirit is doing really well and that the triangle new fencing champion got a good insight into what the club has the potential for the future, both fencing and socially. With greetings from touring mother Louise. |
