On 29 August 2010 I had the pleasure for the first time as leader of event at Veteran DM. But with all the paper work done from home - start lists, age, event type, etc. - and Ferenc Toth, who runs the assembly and 'Directoire Technique' in the same person, I felt well prepared.

There were 32 starts in 11 age categories, so the rally was quite well occupied. On herrefleuret was close battle for top spots, and several semi-finals ended 10-9. On the sword was a pre great excitement, as there were many new participants, who had just 'grown up' (ie the age of 40 years!) To take a stand against the experienced veteranfægtere. Results can be read on the scoreboard, which is to find below.

Fencing Club Triangle thank all participants and spectators for a really good fægtedag. After the tournament I've gotten lots of responses from participants. The collected experiences will be passed to the veteran group, so the tournament can be optimized every year.

I hope you again next year would like to participate, and I will take even more of your training buddies with you - if they had otherwise grown up by then!
