Alvin Tobias Andersen # 16 in the world!

Thursday 31 March succeeds Alvin Tobias Andersen Fencing Club Triangle to lift themselves to a very nice top 16 place at the World Championships in Amman, Jordan. Tobias started otherwise the next day by fencing quite uncertain in the pool and had only two victories. It was just enough to move on to the shake-out. Tobias was otherwise only two seats from smoking completely out of the tournament after pool.
But during the break took Tobias his absolute best fencing back and won the first over Marwan Ahmed from Egypt 15 - 7, then had to meet Mario Tobias Langer from Austria, also was beaten by the hårdtkæmpene Trekantenfægter and the game ended 15 - 11 Finally met Tobias, Balint Matyas of Hungary. He was too great a mouthful of Tobias and here ended the World Cup adventure so with the digits 10 - 15
Tobias fought extremely well and sometimes Tobias got his fencing to look like it would otherwise only be seen by experienced seniorfægtere. He fencing was deliberate, patient and spicy with great athletic expression. Congratulations to Tobias .. He has not just had a great World Cup but can also boast several impressive victories and achievements this season.

Kolja Dahlin fægtede også i dag, og havde tre sejre i puljen. Kolja skulle i sin første udslagning møde Michele Del Macchia fra Italien. Kampen endte 15 - 7. Efter kampen udtalte Kolja at han var tilfreds med sit resultat i top 64, og at han nu ser frem til at vende tilbage ved fremtidige verdensmesterskaber. Kolja er første års kadet og har allerede mange flotte resultater bag sig. Det skal blive spændene at følge de næste to kadetsæsoner som Kolja har foran sig.
