9 fencer from Triangle attended the 24th and 25 september 2011 in the small and cozy event in Lübeck. Experience from previous showed that this is a tournament where the triangle has been dominant and harvested prestigious locations. The triangle was in years represented in 8 categories and the excitement was great.

The group's youngest fencer Ruben (2003) competed in the vintage year 2002 and 2001. Ruben gave an impressive inserted, especially considering that this was his first tournament. Out of the 9 games he lost the 7 with the digits 4-5. It succeeded Ruben of getting a third place the vintage the 2002nd

Jonas had to defend his first space from last year in the cohort the 2,001th Unfortunately fell Jonas - the night before the regatta-out of the top bunk and landed so unfortunate! That Jonas and his dad Jesper had to spend most of the night at a German hospital. Here they noted that Jonas had broken his sword hand (part) and thus were incapable of defending his first place from last year. We want Jonas speedy recovery and hope for super quick healing.

In vintage 2000, Triangle 3 participants and overall there were 13 participants. In the initial pools Benjamin went on undefeated and Rasmus lost only one match - to Benjamin - and Anton lost two matches. In the next round pool lost Benjamin 1 match - Rasmus -, and Rasmus lost a fight to a German. Anton gave again a noble effort, and lost only two of its group matches. There was no knock-off matches for the year 2000 and the final placement outcome was not immediately apparent. It turned out that there was disagreement about the outcome of the pool round 1 should be counted or not. The decision was that all games should be counted, and thus won the Benjamin first Square and Rasmussen won the third Square and Anton took a great 6th space.

Felix and Mattias were the last to be in matches on Saturday. Both boys stand in the class above him and was up against the German boys who were 2-3 years old - they were great!. A total of 19 fencers in this age group. In the initial rounds of pools both fencers did really well and provided good resistance. Especially Mattias found in the second half of the pool rounds, incredibly beautiful and classy fencing forward. As the only in its pool could Mattias threaten and even take points from the German wonder boy. The results of the preliminary pools below was an 8th space for Felix and 13 Mattias space. In shake-Felix was up against a German left-handed fencer. The German was always 2-3 points ahead of Felix, and there was fought bravely and fiercely for every point. With 40 seconds left in the third period was 14-12 position for the German. Felix maintained a belief in themselves and that this struggle could be won, and with 8 seconds of the fight back was the now 14-14. No participants from the Danish tenant dared breathe. With 2 seconds left put the Germans a Touché into Felix and the game was there to finish. Mattias continued the prestigious fencing from the pool rounds and fought equally well. Unfortunately, the great German boys too large a mouthful, and both triangle fencers lost their first shake-out battle.

Sunday was Felix and Mattiases opponents come more into the eye height over opponents from the day before. This also meant that both fencers fared significantly better. In Felix's vintage, there were 12 fencers and Felix lost only one match in the territory in question pools below. In return, Felix lost not a single one of its shake-fighting, and went again this year first site. Mattias was just as untouchable and could thus for 3 years in a row, take a first place in his class, where there were 10 participants.

In the baby boomers took Carol and Ken Martin. Lene was partly made on a heavy pot and had a bit of an off day. This meant that Carol participated in its 2 group matches but did not have enough points to be in the shake-out.

Ken Martin was great seen flying and was nearly untouchable in his group matches - and we spectators had to repeat another great fighter's words - "I fly like a butterflie and stitch like a bee" - beautiful!. Ken Martin lack of match practice showed himself first in the final match which just lacked the last in pulling the first place home. So a noble and worthy second place to Ken Martin.

A big thanks to Ken Martin who coach and support triangle young fencers.

The triangle thus reaching 6 medals in 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
