After an impressive start to the World Cup in Cantania where Filip Kill won all 5 games in the pool and thus qualified directly to the top 64th Vm is now sadly over for Philip. Today's opponent in the top 64 were Jamie KenBer from Great Britain. KenBer led most of the fight and was at one point leading by three points. But it succeeds Philip to come up on KenBer and towards the end of the struggle led Filip 14 - 12 KenBer turned out to be able to come back and won narrowly with the digits 15 - 14
Filip Kill is now out of this year's world championships, but there must be emphasized that Philip fencing has experienced a major step in the right direction by vm in Cantania. Net vm-profit sends Filip into the absolute top of Danish fleuretfægtning and he is now a serious candidate for the Olympics zone qualifying tournament in Bratislava in the spring.
