All four fencers went on to direct elimination, ie. they were among the last 64 fencers.

In the direct shake-out was Alexander Tsoronis meeting Caporizzi Michele from Italy. They were an exciting battle as Alexander unfortunately lost narrowly at the time 11-13. Unfortunately for the remaining Danish participants should meet Frederick Oliver in the battle to get the last 16 fencers. This match won Oliver Jessing 15-13.
