Instructor

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team and help staff our fencing facilities. We are especially looking for people who are able to take regular Saturday shifts between 9 AM and 5 PM.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a service-oriented environment, and would like a flexible and meaningful student job in a unique sports setting.

About the role:

  • You will be part of a team that shares the available shifts and helps ensure that the association’s daily operations run smoothly.
  • You will assist and serve the association’s customers, including participants in introductory events and other visitor activities.
  • You will be responsible for handling walk-in customers in connection with piste bookings.
  • You will help ensure that the association’s facilities remain neat and tidy, including making sure equipment is put back in its proper place and that any dirty clothing is washed when needed.
  • There will be periods where your main task is simply to staff the facility and be available if needed, making this a particularly suitable student job.
  • In addition to regular Saturday shifts, you may also be offered shifts at other times. Availability on weekdays between 8 AM and 3 PM is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You have at least 2 years of fencing experience.
  • You are available for regular Saturday shifts between 9 AM and 5 PM.
  • You are comfortable interacting with customers and creating a welcoming experience for visitors and participants.
  • You are dependable, practical, and willing to take responsibility for keeping the facilities presentable and operational.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and sharing responsibilities with others.

What we offer:

  • A flexible and relevant student job in a unique sporting environment.
  • The opportunity to work with customers, events, and day-to-day operations in an active association.
  • A supportive team environment with shared responsibility for shifts and tasks.
  • Standard hourly pay.
  • The chance to contribute to a positive and professional experience for our members and customers.

If this sounds like something for you, send an email for more information or submit your application.

We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully welcoming you to the team.
